This site contains free sites which contain online texts and paid subscription sites with full text of reference books or monographs. All of the subscription databases may be accessed from home by using the remote access passwords available from the handout in the library or online through the Stamper Library classroom page on jbNet.

Humanities E-book Project- The ACLS Humanities E-Book Project is a collaboration of eight learned societies, nearly 75 contributing publishers,and librarians at the University of Michigan's Scholarly Publishing Office. Project Gutenberg: The oldest Internet site for etexts, it also includes audiobooks and sheet music
Questia - This site provides full text access to over 50,000 books and thousands of newspaper and journal articles. See the librarians to receive a unique account password that will give you access to the content and allow you to create virtual bookshelves, highlight and create notes for the texts, and generate bibliographies of works cited.
Salem History - Full text access to various Salem Press publications, including Great Lives from History and Great Events from History. (Password available for home access)
