The mission of the Howard A. Stamper Library is to support and to foster the active and creative pursuit of academic and artistic achievement through the effective use of information and the encouragement of curiosity and scholarly inquiry. The library aims to facilitate access to--and instruction in the use of--information resource both within and beyond the library walls; to create and to maintain an inviting, diverse, and flexible space for study, teaching, and collaboration; to provide a full range of resources, services, programs, and training opportunities; and to promote an appreciation of lifelong learning.
