Every summer, students are required to read three books from grade-specific lists. The English department annually refines these lists to appeal to student interests and broaden their exposure to a range of literary styles. English teachers draw from these readings for class assignments during the first few weeks of school.
The library sets up a display of all summer reading titles in May - don't forget that you may check out JBS library books for the entire summer break.
